1st Thanksgiving At Home

Wednesday both of us were off of work. We spent the day cleaning and decorating the inside of our house for Christmas. So yes, we did take our fall decorations down a little earlier. But, I love this time of the year! At one point, the house was more of a mess than when we started, but by the end of the day it had really come together. Early that evening, we had our first Thanksgiving meal at home. I didn't make much and it wasn't fancy, but it was our first Thanksgiving. It was just the three of us and our puppies. We ate in our pjs and drank out of The Ohio State glasses. It was one of the best meals as a family of three yet! Baby C was getting pretty tired around the time we ate so she sat in her swing next to the dining room table.

One of the other items I bought with the gift cards that we had received when Baby C first came home was her walker. My DH had put it up in the attic for safe keeping. When he was getting the Christmas decor down, my DH brought it down also and put it together. She can barely reach (even when she is on her tip toes). But, she can get it to move a few inches here and there. But, what she really likes about it is that the buttons and toys are so close. She gets so excited with each noise it makes. She loves her new toy!

Sounds like you had an awesome 1st Thanksgiving at home.

You know I love me some Ohio State stuff! At least one of our Ohio teams can boast a winning record. I'm sticking by the Bengals but Sunday's are rough in my house right now. :)

Oh she is just so sweet! I cannot believe how she's growing. Love to watch it. :)
