Meeting with Chloe's Birthfamily

On Sunday 9.21.14, we met with Chloe's birthmother and birthfather at the Mexican restaurant. They rode separate and saw us when we pulled in. They had gifts galore! Tissue paper went everywhere with each gust of wind. Even though they are no longer together; it's good to see them getting along now. We had a ton of pictures to give each one (we were behind printing them off). We ordered food and talked. Chloe wrote her name for them and of course they were proud. I fed Griffin and after we were finished eating they opened gifts. The girls got clothes, matching dolls, stuffed animals and a jewelry box. Griffin received some baby gear and several outfits. They truly love each and everyone of the kids. They never leave TT and now Griff out of the loop. It means a lot to us!

3 Year Well-Baby Check-Up

The same day as Griffin's 1 Month appointment, TT had her appointment. She weighed 32lbs and was 38.50in tall. Her BMI was 15.18. She was in the 75% for height and 50% for weight. Her blood pressure was 82/42. While there the doctor told us that they had the flu shots (we were going to ask anyway and schedule an appointment for next week). So, we let the girls know that they would be getting shots. TT volunteered to go first. Chloe wasn't as willing and started to get upset. TT was intrigued. When she finally got the shot she cried for a few seconds. However, when it was Chloe's turn...Chloe lost it. We have to forcefully hold her down. TT then lost it too. She didn't like us "hurting" her sister. We were dumbfounded by both of their reactions. Finally, Griff had to get the second hepatitis shot. It was a long, torturous appointment. The people in the waiting room could definitely hear our room.

1 Month

Where has the time gone? On Friday (9,19.14), Griffin turned 1 Month Old. I had all three at home (no preschool on Fridays). After a short nap, we headed out the door. I was happy that we all made it out safely and ahead of schedule. We met Daddy in the waiting room of the doctor's office. Teegan also had an appointment (3 year well baby check-up). I will post about her stats tomorrow. His temperature was 99.3F and his BMI was 13.07. He weighed 9lbs 9oz and was 22in long. We think he is longer (he hardly ever stretches he legs out and wouldn't do so for the nurse). He was in the 75% for height and 50% for weight. Just over the last few days he has developed a TON of baby acne. Poor boy :(

The day of Teegan's birthday party (9.13.14), he moved to size 1 diapers. He has also started wearing mainly 0-3m clothing. He was wore some months size and size 1 shoes. He loves to be swaddled. Around 2 weeks, we gave in a let him have a pacifier. I don't think he is going to let us take it away. He is taking Similac and Sam's Club brand of formula. Thursday of this past week he moved to 4oz every 3-5 hours. He is waking up 2x a night for a feeding. He loves his swings and rock-and-play equally. He is starting to spit up more and goes through several outfits a day (which is okay because we have a TON).

Teegan's Birthday Party

Her birthday was 9.7, but we had her party at our home 9.13. It was too cold that morning, so we planned to have it indoors. Although, several adults did go outside to eat and a few children went outside to play. Chloe had soccer that morning. Afterwards, we grabbed lunch to bring home, gave baths and put the kiddos down for a nap.

The party went fantastic! We had Subway and Lee's Chicken for the food. It was a hit! And, we got the just the right amount.

She loved all of her wonderful gifts! She doesn't need anymore MLP anytime soon!
