Baby C is 5 months old today!
Baby C is getting so big. She is now wearing size 2 diapers and 3-6 months clothes. Her 3 months pants are too short. Weight-wise she can fit in a lot of 6 months clothes, but a lot of the pants are too long. But, I am sure that she will be wearing 6 monthes clothes in the matter of days. (Not all brands come in 3-6 months clothes, so we are running out of options!)
Baby C is a supported sitter and will sit by herself for short, short periods of time (of course only if we sit her there in the first place). She still loves her jumper and is secondly in love with her walker. She almost hangs off of the end of her swing. Although, it puts her to sleep almost everytime she is put in it. She likes to play by herself, but perfers one of us to be by her side. Bathtime is still one of her favorite times of the day. She has not only discovered her thumbs, but also her toes and she loves to kick her legs. She kicks in the bathtub, in her carseat, in her crib, on the floor...everywhere!
Baby C takes a short nap in the morning not long after her morning bottle and a long nap around noon after her mid-day bottle. In the evenings, she may or may not take a cat nap. If we are out and about, she will sleep in her carseat with no problem.
If she has a small toy in her hand, she can swith it from hand to hand. She is able to grab things from us if we are holding it in front of her and will pick stuff up from the tray of her B.umbo and/or SpaceSaver highchair. She has discovered that she can play with the toys attached to her carseat and not just stare at them.
Of course, she can still roll from her front to her back, but doesn't like to all of the time.
She has mastered giggling out loud and smiles none stop.
We have a wild one on our hands.
We are totally in for it!
We are absolutely, positively, in LOVE!
