Wednesday is our 3rd anniversary. We haven’t been able to go on a vacation the last couple of summerw do to the timing of our infertility treatments. And, again this summer, we are not sure where we will be able to go. So, I planned an overnight get-a-way for us. I haven’t even told my DH where we are going! I am even going to pack for him tonight. We are dropping our puppies off at the in-laws around 7:45am tomorrow and will pick them up around 11:00pm on Wednesday night. I am looking forward to the next couple of days even though it’s only something small.
Thursday on the other hand is another story. We have another confirmation u/s scheduled for 9:00am and I have to be at the hospital at 11:30am. The surgery itself is scheduled for 1:00pm. Of course, I am not looking forward to this. But, then again, I am ready for this to be over. I am so miserable.
I am very hopeful that next month I will have so more positive news for ICLW. This depressing stuff is horrible.

Oh hun, so sorry. As you know, there is some relief in "getting it over with." D&Cs are so exhausting and draining, both physically and emotionally. hang in there. I think about it all the time - how my life has changed so completely in moments, 1 ultrasound and BOOM, I'll never be the same. And don't even ask me how I survived the second time.
So, I hope you have FUN with your dh, and really find a way to be at peace and enjoy the time together.

I wish things didn't change for the bad in the blink of an eye. I've been following your blog for awhile now, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I had hoped that this was it for the two of you. I'm sorry for your loss. I think that mini-vacation is really important for you. It will likely be good to get a break from life, even if it's just for a weekend.
I have been following you for a little over a month now. I really wish this had worked out differently for you. I hope you enjoy your little rendezvouz and try to enjoy your anniversary. I know how something like this can totally hamper that time (our last IVF cycle we found out all three of our embryos were genetically abnormal and our cycle was cancelled on our 4th anniversary). Thinking of you.
