New Toy & More Meds.

Our insurance, through my husband’s work, changed this school year. One good thing about the change was the survey that they asked us to take when we first signed up. For each person in the household that took this online survey, you received a $75 gift card to a place of your choice. DH finished the survey first and decided on B.est Buy. A few weeks later, I answered as DH asked me the survey’s questions. I also got a B.est Buy card.

This is what we got.

I felt bad. At first I didn’t want to get it. Half of the money should have been his, but he encouraged me to go ahead. Using the gift cards, we didn’t have to pay much in cash and got all of the accessories at another store that had them priced better. Now, DH wants one!

Here was my reasoning on getting the I.Pod:
1. I have wanted one for a while now.
2. I love music.
3. I love its capabilities.
4. I want to use it during acupuncture.
5. I want to use it during ET.

What do you think? Good purchase? What’s on your I.Pod? What songs do you suggest?

P.S. This was waiting for me when I got home.

I Love my ipod touch! You can do so much with it. Using the wifi feature is awesome to check emails etc. My favorite apps are Lose It (calorie counter), Kayak.com (for travel stuff) and some games. Hope you enjoy it!

I heart my iPhone. Love it! I never thought I would like having my music and work stuff and phone all on one thing. It's great.

I love my mp3 player... and my next phone will be something along the lines of an iPhone so that I can get all those cool apps and have my music in my phone.

I don't know what I would do without my IPod. I have been told that I have quite the variety of music. I have tons of Latin stuff, some raunchy stuff by Pink and Black Eyed Peas, Christian music, broadway musicals, classical and some stuff that I am not sure how to categorize. Something for every possible mood!
Looks like you've got quite the pharmacy there!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Oh how I wish I could get an iPod. Sadly, hubs and I decided the extra monthly fees just wouldn't be a good thing for us. Oh well! Enjoy it!!

Thanks for your post on my blog :) To answer your question, I'm waiting on approval from my ins company for the lap, should be scheduling it soon for sometime before the end of the year.

I'm wishing you all the luck with your upcoming FET!!

Wow, you got all sorts of presents today! My husband and I bought Iphones in July and I don't know how I survived without it! I make playlists with all sorts of music based on mood. I have cheerful, mellow, peppy, and in the dumps list. For the peppy, I have songs I like to sing to in the car and bop around to. In the dumps is all about those power ballads {haha} from the hair bands. Love it! Good luck with your FET!

OH MY STARS!! If it weren't for this post, I would have LEFT MY IPOD BEHIND for my transfer tomorrow! THANK YOU! I love mine-NOT A DUMB purchase. I only listen to Christian Contemporary music and plan on having it on some CHILL-praise music while I'm getting acupuncture tomorrow! I have used it during acupuncture up until now and I'M OUT as soon as I turn it on! Can't wait until we are pregnant together!

I love my ipod. Very useful.
Currently I am into Adele, Paolo Nutini, Enya, Barenaked Ladies and some old school stuff like Violent Femmes and Johnny Cash. My tastes run the gamut so I'm usually no help to anyone else since I like so much.
Enjoy your ipod.

I love, love, love my IPod touch! And I have the same thoughts as you, I plan on taking it with me during the ER and ET. I'm planning on posting a ET playlist soon.

I see that we are a couple of weeks apart for IVF. I'll be following you!

Good luck and best wishes for your upcoming LAP.

I so love my DH's iPOD Touch. He uses it for everything from e-mail to watching TV, but I am really addicted to scramble ATM. Love it.

Good luck with your cycle!

Nice purchase! I wish I had an i-pod. I have a small mp3 player that only wants to work about half of the time. I think I may be adding this to my list for the holidays!

Nice present for yourself, especially considering the other 'present' that was waiting for you at home!

My iPod Touch was worth every penny. I use it daily. If I'm traveling and I don't feel like bringing a computer, I can still check email from it. I find wifi hotspots all the time so while I'd love the iPhone, I don't necessarily need it. I love watching a few minutes of a movie or television show if I get somewhere early. Truly, a great choice.

Great choice on the iPod! I wish I had one that nice. A good portion of mine is filled up with Foo Fighters, but that's just me! Also might not be the best choice for relaxing during acupuncture or ET. :)

I also splurged and bought myself the touch about six months ago. Three words: TOTALLY WORTH IT. Enjoy!!!

I want an I.Pod T.ouch so bad! That's great that you got one!

I just brought home my big box of meds for IVF #2 last night. Good times, huh?

I see from your sidebar that you're going in for a 2nd lap tomorrow. I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that your recovery is very short.
