Helping Out

We are loving our new church. We helped to serve one of over 40+ local families this Thanksgiving. The girls helped to decorate the box.

On Tuesday November 19th, 2013 Chloe had her first basketball practice. This academy is for 3-5 year olds! Let me tell you, it's VERY entertaining!

New Try

Today is CD 3 and I will start Femara (through CD 7). We have an CD 13 U/S on 12.3.13 where we really hope to hear the dominant follicle in on my good side (where I have a tube). From there, we will hopefully schedule an IUI later in that week. I will also be on Crinone again this cycle.

I left home early before school, drove alone and headed to the lab.

Monday afternoon, we received a voicemail from our favorite nurse. She knew it wasn't what we wanted to hear.

It was negative.

I had already taken Crinone, so Monday morning was my last dose.

I am to wait on AF and call with CD 1. I am unsure of our next step.

CD 13 U/S

On Saturday November 2nd, 2013 I had my CD 12 U/S on CD 13. I wasn't 'ready' last month on CD 12, so moving it to CD 13 wasn't a concern for us.

We had our fingers crossed.... the dominant follicle was on my bad side last cycle. Well, the biggest is also on my bad side this month. It measured around 21. On my good side, she found one that was around 19 and many smaller ones.

Should I have any hope at all?

We decided against IUI (due to schedule issues mainly). We triggered Sunday morning around 10am.

I told Dr. T of my concerns about my LPD. She agreed. I will not do a P4 test this cycle. Instead, I will start Crinone this Friday. I have never used this form of progesterone. Anyone have any experience with it?

I have my HCG Test November 18th.

My Birthday & National Adoption Month

Today (November 1st) is my 29th birthday!

But, today... I am going to spend a lot of time thinking about Chloe's birth family. Today marks the start of National Adoption Month.
