Praying for a New Blessing

On June 23, 2013 (our 6 year anniversary), we decided to stop birth control. Admittedly, we did not 'try' that first cycle. The next two cycles we did, but with no luck. Honestly, we were so busy with vacations, moving and the start of new school year we didn't put.... well, we tried but weren't totally devastated when 'it' didn't happened. We had been talking about this for months. Do we want more children? When? How? What if? What if? What if? Did we want to talk to our agency? Our RE? What directions would we go? We have decided to try and have another biological child. We also decided to consult with our RE. By the time I called and go in, it was September 17th. I went alone and Daddy stayed with the girls. After a good conversation, blood word and ultrasound.... it's back on the RE schedule I go.

Here's the plan for this cycle:
1. Continue my thyroid medication (which was a 2.15) I am negative for antibodies.
2. Continue metformin medication (tested my levels, I am doing well on it).
3. Start baby aspirin for MTHFR (I have the 'best' type of this/not the most dangerous)
4. Start Vitamin D back up. My levels always tend to be low.
5. Start Selenium. This is new for me. RE says that in last few years (I can't believe I have been away from her that long), this has been used with patients with RPL (Recurrent Pregnancy Loss).
6. Start prescribed prenatal with extra folic acid.
7. CD (cycle day) 3-7 take Femara (2 pills). We are skipping Clomid since we had no luck with it before.
8. CD 12 Ultrasound. If I am ovulating from my good side (I only have one tube), I will trigger)

Please pray for us as we begin our journey to add to our family. I am excited and nervous as to what we face. I am unsure if I am happy that I know what this could be like 9what we may face ahead of us) or very, very weary of what may be ahead of us. We are asking for another miracle. I know that we have blessed beyond our wildest dreams already, but we would love to continue to grow our family.

As this blog post is being posted, I am at my CD 12 ultrasound. Fingers crossed that I am ovulating from my good side.
