Dinner with Chloe's Birthmother

Our visits with Chloe's birthfamily continue to go well. Over the last several months, there have been ups and downs between her birthmother and birthfather, but when we are all together things go well. We continue to communicate through email with her. We have had the opportunity to meet the birthfather's mother and sister. Overall, both meetings have been amazing experiences. They have been emotional. They have spoiled both girls with the most amazing gifts. They are in love with Chloe and Teegan. They are supportive. They have taken us all in.

Last summer, we found recordable artwork on sale at K.roger. At Christmas, we recorded Chloe saying "I love you __________" and allowed her to paint what she wanted.

Yesterday, me met with her birthmother and the friend (who was there during Chloe's birth). She told us she listens to it everyday. She said she knows it's going to be a good day when she hears it.

We (my husband, our birthmother, her friend and I) have been asked to speak. One of our socialworkers runs the educational classes at our agency for prospective adoptive families. So, we met for dinner (a first) to talk about how we wanted that to go.
