Baby C's Sixth Appointment

Baby C had her 9 month check-up on 4.28.11. She didn't have to have any shots, but did have to get a finger prick. This was to check her iron levels (her level was 12.5 and Dr. B wanted it to be at least 10). They would have also checked for lead, but Dr. B felt there was no need since all of the houses Baby C is around are relatively new.

Baby C's stats:
Height - 28"
Weight - 20lbs 8oz
Heard Circum. - 18"

Baby C is now in the 75% for weight and 65% for height. But, she is said to be proportional. The Dr. talked to us about flouride in water and the benefits for Baby C's teeth. If we feel the need, there is a coating that we can get for her teeth at the next visit.

She is growing! Hope the little finger prick didn't make her cry too much. I hate seeing Matthew cry when he gets his shots!

Happy Monday!

I started taking AJ to the pediatric dentist when he was 16 months old (he had 4 teeth -2 top/2bottom). He doesn't mind going now at all. They told me to brush his little teeth everyday with a non-floride (starter)toothpaste and they also put that coating on his teeth everytime too! I didn't know the Dr. could/would do that or else I may have waited to take him to the actual dentist--since our dental insurance is not that good.
