Two thirty somethings, both teachers, working on growing our family and living life to the fullest. We were blessed with our first daughter through the miracle of adoption in July 2010 and welcomed our second daughter after a surprise pregnancy in September 2011. Then, in 2014 we added a precious boy to our growing family.
Formally, "Our Journey, But Not Our Plan. It's hard to deal with now. But, one day, it will all be worth it."
Our blog title changed when we realized that our plans changed and that it was ok that they did. And guess what? It has ALL been totally worth it!
Follow us as we continue our journey!
We are loving our new back deck. It holds our "bigger" pool easily. The kiddos had a blast playing and being able to come right in and get on dry clothing!
On Chloe's 5th Birthday, we surprised her with balloons in her room (her request actually). We then headed to a local waterpark using an amazing Groupon deal. When we got home, she open her gifts and we had cookie cake. She is getting so big! She is wearing 5 and 6s. She wears 10 and 11s in shoes. She is getting smarter by the day and amazes use with her stories.
Two days before Chloe's birthday, we meet Chloe's birthfather, birthmother and birthgrandmother (on her birthmother's side). We paid for them to get in. We had a day that no one will forget! It was simply AMAZING! Who would have ever thought that we would have been in this position? After having lunch at the zoo, we headed to a yogurt place to open gifts.
