Easter - Part 1

On Easter Sunday, we gave the girls their Easter basket right before we left. They loved what they received, but Teegan didn't like her Daddy and Big Sis putting the 'grass' on her head. Chloe seemed to like Teegan's basket just as much as hers. The night before, we grilled out as our Easter meal. We went to my sister's house first. My Dad was there also. After an amazing meal, we hid and found Easter eggs. My sister gave each girl a prize. Then, we went to DH's parents' house. I couldn't eat (we literally when right after we left my sister's). We then helped the girls hunt egges there with prizes folllowing.

7 Months

On 4.7.12 Teegan turned 7 months old. Where has all of the time gone? She is getting so big. She is wearing size 3 diapers and 6-9/9 months clothing. When she wears shoes, they are size 2. She finally had her 6 month appointment at the end of March. She was 27.25 inches long (85%) and 18lbs(75%).  Her head measured 17 inches.  Rolling over (anyway) is of no issue and if she is on her boppy or on a pillow she can sit the rest of the way  up. She doesn't mind belly time and pushes herself up with her arms. She is starting to bring her legs up under her. She will be crawling in now time. She eats solids twice a day (approximately half of a container); it is mixed with rice or oatmeal. She drinks 4 or 5 bottles a day (6-8 oz each). She also really enjoys juice. Her hand-eye coordination amazes us daily.

Forever Family Day

Today is our Forever Family Day. I can't believe that one year ago we were in court dressed up, answering questions and signing the paperwork. We then we out to eat to celebrate. It's been an amazing year. We are beyond blessed. Baby C, Chloe, is the best Big Sis ever! Baby T, Teegan, has come into our family and turned our family of three into a family of four very quickly.

Today we are our celebrating as a family...21 months ago I would have never dreamt that this was where we would be today.

Egg Coloring Fun...?!?!

We attempted egg coloring. No spill..... laugh! We made a mess and a bath was required afterwards, but we had fun. Baby T's face says it all!

New Swing Set

For Easter, we both the girls a swingset. They love it. Check out Baby T in her swing for the first time.
