We have been wanting to do this for the last several years, but never had the room. We do now :)
We had five groups participating. We provided the basic kits and told everyone that they could bring extras if they wanted. Everyone was also asked to bring an appetizer to share. We started at 5:30pm on a Friday night. By the time we ate, it was 6:30pm. We decided to set a time limit of 1 hour. For the next hour, we all decorate, watched/played with our children, ate more and had TONS of fun! When time was up, we asked the other adults to play with the children (we had bought other holiday crafts). During that time, Jason and I came up with fun phrases for each group's certificates. We then had an awards ceremony. Each family, received a certificate, plastic trophy and a goody bag. I already can wait until next year.
